I’m currently offering free creative coaching sessions around sketching. These sessions aim to unleash more flow, ease, and mindfulness in your life and career. I would love an introduction to someone you know who is looking for this:

With summer officially here in the northern hemisphere, after the summer solstice on June 21st, nature is in full bloom, and we are now presented with a plethora of opportunities to draw outside. Now is a great chance to head to your local botanical garden, college campus or park to capture nature in bloom. It is also the season of festivals, walks and celebrations. So go out and seize the opportunities presented by this new season and take the opportunity to try something new.

Coming up next week is the paid subscriber group drawing time. You can join online or in-person if you are in the Corvallis, Oregon area. If you would like to join there is still time to upgrade to a paid subscriber:

Corvallis Art Walk (CAW)

This last week I had the pleasure of going to the Corvallis Art Walk (CAW). With our nice weather plenty of people were out and about. I visited the Conundrum House, which is a space I have heard a lot about, but never had a chance to visit. Also enjoyed stopping in at the flute shop beneath Conundrum House and Tarweed’s open house. Tarweed was particularly exciting as they were in the newly remodeled local hardware store space. This was formerly Robnett’s Hardware and is being reopened as Wade Hardware. Tarweed will share the space with the hardware store when the store reopens.

I coordinate for one of the galleries on the Corvallis Art Walk and am currently looking for artists to feature in the fall. If you, or someone you know, are local to Corvallis and interested in showing your work in a low pressure, beginner friendly art gallery I would love to connect.

Creative Coaching

Do you want to share your work, but feel hesitation or resistance? This is a common topic that comes up during creative coaching sessions. Putting your work out there either in a show, job application or request to an employer is a vulnerable moment that can bring up feelings and thoughts that keep us from performing at our best when we need it most. In coaching, we can explore resistance and find the core message it is sending you. I have seen this work take clients to insights and results they never expected or thought possible.

I’m currently offering a free coaching session to Sketchy Traveler subscribers. Schedule a time at: https://koalendar.com/e/complementary-coaching-session
